Quick Draw® PA 6000 Series

QuickDraw® PA 6000 self-venting®, high-temperature Nylon 6 film designed to eliminate breathers, bleeders, and release films in general vacuum bagging processes. Typical Applications include vacuum bagging of pre-pregs, wet layups, and core materials; laminating veneers and forming and bonding high-strength transparencies. The Quick Draw® PA 6000 series film is available in both 2 mils and 3 mil thicknesses. We recommend using 2 mils in applications where superior drapability is key; 3 mils is best used over foam cores or sharp corners to prevent tearing.

Quick Draw® PET 200

QuickDraw® PET 200 is a relatively stiff, self-venting® vacuum bag film designed for use in composite manufacturing and laminating without breather or bleeder material. Film Technology PET film is completely recyclable. Typical applications include vacuum bagging film for resin systems and laminating processes up to 300°F (148°C). Frequently used in vacuum-assisted resin transfer molding processes (VARTM), where the higher vacuum and good resin flow are desirable.
VARTM is no longer reserved for big projects and can now be used for jobs as simple as pouring resin into the tool, bagging, and evacuation. With Quick Draw® films, the hands-on application is reduced, work is generally easier, and only minimal training is required. VARTM also calls for materials and tooling highly similar to the requirements of conventional processes.
VARTM is perfect for various forms and conventional resin systems, including polyesters, vinyl esters, and epoxies, while larger, more complex projects are possible within a manufacturer's existing system. Best of all, using UV-cured resins (like those from Sunrez®) with Quick Draw® VARTM films extends cure times indefinitely. Sizable parts can also be created in a single process with near-zero VOC emissions.

Quick Draw® PO 9200

PO 9200 is a self-venting®, low-temperature, modified polyolefin tinted film with good elongation, formability, and release properties. Typical applications include general low-temperature release film for pre-preg and general composite lamination, stencil cutting, overlay, over-wrap release, vacuum bagged release film for multi-axis tape, and layered manufacturing systems. Please note PO 9200 is not a textured ("crinkled") film; it is smooth and flat to obtain the best release qualities.
